Sergeant Major Kululu sat in his lab, his eyes focused on the code he was writing. He was rather on task until he heard Milkshake walk across the room. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw her carrying a stack of paper to a nearby desk. She left, then came back with a box of pencils and pens. Then she left once more, and returned carrying an eraser, White-Out and a stapler.
Even Kululu couldn't help his curiosity. "What are you up to, Milkshake?"
"I'm going to write a book!" Milkshake said brightly.
Kululu's face turned into a mischievious smile. "About what?"
"Umm…" Milkshake put on a thinking face. She had been so focused on getting stuff to write the book she forgot to think up something to write. "Uh…I'll write about marshmallows!"
Typical Milkshake. Kululu wished he foreseen her answer. "Very well, then," he said casually. "I'll go about my business and you go about yours." He was glad she was doing something constructive—besides, how much trouble could a girl make by writing a simple children's book?
********
Oh, was he wrong.
Milkshake had gone on to write a simple story of a land made of marshmallows, which she took over to Sergeant Keroro to read. Keroro enjoyed it immensely, and was about to congratulate the little girl before greed smacked him in the face. Within the span of 40 minutes, he persuaded Kululu to make a publishing machine (without telling him what for) and snuck the books into bookstores all over Adventure City. Money was running in like crazy.
Kululu felt a little bit exasperated by this development but Milkshake didn't mind in the slightest. According to her, she was glad to be able to help Keroro get more "charity money". Kululu felt some anger bubble up slightly at that statement.
However, as Kululu predicted, Milkshake all-too-happily mentioned the day's events to their allies Ryn and Sonic, who automatically stepped in to recall all the books. The pair also forced Keroro to refund every single book purchased, which made Kululu have a small laughing fit at the sergeant's expense.
In other words, it was a rather typical day in Milkshake's eyes.
